Plastic surgery is a surgical category that includes several procedures such as rhinoplasty, liposuction, breast augmentation and facelift. Rhinoplasty can change or alter the look of the patient's nose. This procedure can be used to correct an unwanted hereditary bump or reshape a patient's nose that has been broken. Rhinoplasty can also be performed to reconstruct the nose to correct an inability to breathe or to clear some sort of blockage. Other plastic surgical procedures can also help enhance the appearance of the breast and body such as breast augmentation and liposuction. Though most surgical procedures are used for medicinal purposes the patient need not be under medical duress to undergo most plastic surgery procedures.
